We assume the rights of freedom and debate its boundaries in politics, yet how often do we take time to reflect on what freedom means to us personally?

Freedom is not a concept carved from stone; it is malleable and personal, always shifting shape depending on where you find yourself standing and the angle of the slanting light.

Our personal definition of freedom is the ability to act based on my convictions without external restriction or retribution. It is the ability to represent myself as we see ourselves to be, not having to hide or disguise who we are in order to pursue happiness, fulfillment, and growth. It is the power of free self-expression. Personal freedom is one of our top three values.

Of course, there are boundaries to freedom. Our actions should not hurt others or restrict their personal freedoms, and so this is the dance of conscience. Will what we want conflict with what others want or need? If so, how can we have the personal autonomy we need while respecting the freedom of those around us?

We believe there is always a path for mutual free expression, when we respect one another. Today, as we prepare to celebrate Canada, We offer the following

Beautiful famous words. Those words really come to life for us when you consider the idea of owning real estate, especially your own home.

In what sometimes seems like a previous life, I (Paula) worked at Brant United Way as an intern and then as a campaign manager. During my time there, I met many wonderful people, (some of you are reading this letter now!) who gave back to the community in significant ways. Some gave money, some gave time, and some gave resources, they gave what they could when they could. A few of these people became mentors and as a young adult this experience played a major role in changing my direction in life. I embraced this way of thinking.

Working with the member agencies we supported truly opened my eyes to the amount of need in our community. It was then that I started to pay attention to the work being done by these charities and the caring people working the front lines. I was determined to find a way where I could contribute in a more meaningful way.

Jody and I try to set an example to our family and share the spirit of generosity to our family, friends and business acquaintances. We take pride in this and it has become a part of who we are and what our business is really all about. Being able to help is rewarding to us and we want to do more. Everyone who is part of our team are committed to providing outstanding results for buyers and sellers referred to us by our past clients.

This is the same commitment as those working frontlines in the charities we support and since their services survive on sponsorships and donations we are happy to contribute and proud to support them.
